In case you are using Artec ScanApp, you might want to transfer the raw scans to Artec Studio for more advanced processing. This article will guide you through all necessary steps.
Besides the capability of saving ready *.obj meshes, ScanApp can export raw scan data.
Every such scan is exported as a separate folder (scan-0, scan-1, scan-2, etc) and contains a sequence of *.ply files with 3D geometry and *.bmp files with colour information:
Importing raw scans into Artec Studio
To import the whole raw scan (scan-0 on the picture below) into Artec Studio, drag and drop the icon of the scan-0 folder into the Artec Studio window.
Artec Studio will then interpret the folder containing the modified textures as a raw scan and will add this scan to the Workspace:
Add all other raw scans to your Artec Studio project in a similar way, then save the project and post-process this data.
