To start Artec Spider’s calibration process, prepare the calibration kit, place the scanner on the plastic stand and navigate in Artec Studio to File – Run Diagnostic Tool.
In the window select “Start Calibration” -a pop-up will prompt you to enter the calibration board serial number, which you can find on the top-right corner of the board.
After scanner the warms up, you can start the calibration process. Follow the suggestions on the screen during calibration. You must go through all positions of the calibration board. After the process is complete, remember to click the "Apply calibration" button.
New calibrations are stored locally on the PC, so if you want to use the scanner on another machine, copy the folder with the serial number of your Spider scanner from C:\Users\<User_Name>\AppData\Roaming\Artec\Artec Installation Center\Devices\ to the same location on another PC, or recalibrate scanner there again.
