Starting from version 11, Artec Studio features the special optimization of its interface for high resolution displays. It was primarily intended to support the correct rotation of the model and to optimize the interface to match the screen resolution.
This short article will explain how this optimization works and where its settings are stored.
Initial screen optimization and its settings file
After Artec Studio is installed on the tablet, the program appropriately matches the screen resolution during the first start and updates the settings file studio.conf which is stored here:
- Artec Studio 11: C:\Users\windows_user_name\AppData\Roaming\Artec\Artec Studio 11 Professional\220.127.116.11
- Artec Studio 12: C:\Users\windows_user_name\AppData\Roaming\Artec\Artec Studio 12 Professional\12.X.X.XXX
So this optimization is done once on the very first start and its settings are used for all further software launches.
Re-optimizing screen resolution
If your screen resolution or zoom display settings got changed, we recommend to re-optimize Artec Studio interface again. The sequence is as follows:
- Setup no more than 200% zoom for text and apps in Windows display settings:
- Delete studio.conf.
- Restart Artec Studio, so it will match the screen resolution one more time.
